ABOUT THE SHELL:

Beneath the back gator wrap is a Skull Crush 3/4 Old School Helmet, the strongest low profile half shell on the market made from the two stongest materials available for this type of application. Carbon Fiber and Kevlar 29 (ballistic quality) with woven and mat fiberglass. The resin is a high strength vinylester which combined with the material at an exact resin to fiber ratio making the helmet incredibly strong.

ABOUT THE INTERIOR:

The liner is made of a material called Ensolite. Ensolite is an energy absorbing foam originally developed by NASA to protect pressure vessels from damage. It has virtually 100% memory and is waterproof. This foam is much more impact resistant compared to the common foam liners used in most helmets. If necessary, the removable cushioned sizing pads can be cut for a custom fit or removed altogether.

This combination of shell, liner, and Ensolite foam along with the manufacturing process make this helmet one of the strongest, lightest, and safest novelty helmets on the market.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET IT?

The Black Reptile 3/4 helmet is a very labor intensive hand built product with a great amount of attention to detail. Please allow approximately 4-6 weeks for delivery.

The chin strap is equipped with a durable military spec quick disconnect. Not a cheesy plastic covered connector as with most novelty helmets.

Simple yet hardcore look. This is a low-profile helmet. Not a big bulky DOT helmet. It does not stick out from your head like a mushroom.

IS IT D.O.T. APPROVED?

Although this is an extremely durable novelty helmet, it is not DOT approved. Skull Crush assumes no liability in the event of an accident. This helmet is too small and low profile to be a D.O.T. helmet.
